And me and his machines play electronica for humans and their hearts. melodies for a little confidence and rumbling beats to rock to. some may call it indietronic or plinkerpop. let's say: electronic popsongs.
And me is Raffael Dörig. he lives in basle, switzerland. he has played in bands for ten years, then he bought a sampler, then a laptop, and now and then a rusty synthesizer.
in 2003, raffael and some of his friends founded the netlabel interdisco.net. “wake up, slow boy!” was previously released as a part of a 4 track-ep on interdisco.

Pierlo: Upitup's founding father and best friend to Rufus Mandelbrock doesn't waste any chance to surprise the audience and his band members with folly line-up's: not only do Elel and Riccardo actually play his basslines, Pierlooqup also invented the "PG-Box" where he adds harmonica-chords, cellery-breaks, and other sounds made with food!

Bryan Teoh is a midwestern American musician and composer who, since 2001, has become increasingly interested in electronic improvisation and spontaneous performance. His formal background in jazz and western classical music has been tempered with a punk rock approach, still important to him today. This approach sees him as eager to experiment with orchestral synthesis as brutal noise or circuit bent nintendos. Bryan expects to graduate with a degree in composition from Lawrence University in the Spring of 2006.

"I often find myself working with transitions; childish to advanced, harmony to disharmony, concrete sounds to abstract, music to noise, the rhythmic to the arrhythmic, the random to the constructed, the real to the computer generated and so on."

Noidboy: if high inspiration was a desease, this guy is definitely sick. His soulful music comes from his deep rock-roots and the sound of his guitar adds a unique flavor to his rather emotronic music. His live shows are somewhat warm and organic - for each song it seems like a creature is being grown and fed...

Beth Kleist. A general aspect of electronic music, that it mostly remains faceless. Though it might be interesting and important as a concept, it may lead to problems on a personal level concerning meeting the people behind the music. Philipp Bückle and Nils Quak lived in the same city for ages, probably hanging around at the same events but never realizing who the other one actually is.
When it came to an unexpected meeting the idea of a collaboration manifested itself quite fast. First of all, an enormous amount of beer was consumed while discussing ways and means of a shared artistical view. Then computers and other devices got connected adapting the ideas from before. Both artists are not unknown to the world of contemporary electronic music. Philipp released under his moniker Teamforest for example on Morr Music and Aesthetics, Nils as nq on Progressive Form and I Can’t Break You Break Records. So it seems that they needed to strive far away (Nils to Japan and the UK – Philipp to the USA and France), just to realize, that someone with a similar state of mind was living just around the corner.

Zavoloka Katia is a musician from kyiv city, ukraine.
Zavoloka's album "plavyna" is awarded by ars electronica prix 2005. Her music consists of intensive varied sound motions and unexpected combinations piped into carefully controlled electronic flows. never try to predict anything, it can turn out in what one just cannot predict. her music is very unusual from the structural point of view. anyway, zavoloka's music can hardly be called 100 per cent experimental. when asked about the motive of building such a diverse and complicated constructions, she explained her intention to produce more and more frank music that could reflect her momentary shades of feelings and emotions. she also pointed out that her music is intended to be a natural expression of her private freedom.
