my best friend on Decivilize :-)

A few days ago I went to Rome and I bought copies of Decivilize to my friends. Matteo,  my best friend (like an 8 years old kid would say.. ), played the cd in his car and started finding situations he would instinctively associate with the tracks. I found it really interesting to see what my music suggested to a person in such a spontaneous way and fortunately yesterday I got a list of all the tracks’ associations. He’s actually trying to get me to change the titles of the tracks…
Anyway, some of them I get it, some of them are a complete mistery to me, but I love them all (a nerd version of Twin Peaks ??? ).
Comments are open here, please feel free to submit your list of alternative titles.

1. welcome to a bluer blue sky
running on the beach
2. fashion arithmetics
taking a shower, including shampoo
3. old school lesbians vs. the 21st century
role game like Broken sword
4. one body - no head
porn movie soundtrack
5. self approach
mountain excursion, including backpack
6. fuckin’ Jimmy from here
tricky tracks
7. Jimmy coda
you got fever but can’t find the thermometer
8. before going to bed
early stages knowing you won’t get to the point
9. metallic concepts for D and M
happy explanation of a recipe, while cooking
10. the diapason’s uncertainties
soundtrack of a nerd version of Twin Peaks
11. daily explosions
teenage:  thinking with nostalgia about the girl you met on the beach
12. more about him later
confirming nobody listen to the last track of an album

Got it !!! Finally Decivilizing !!!

copies-3-750.jpgcopies-2-750.jpgToday is a really nice day, a bunch of copies of “Decivilize After Consumption” finally reached my door. The album had been delayed for a while but the wait is over. Plus it looks much better than I thought, the illustration by Andrea Calisi fits perfectly the cardboard digipack. More infos coming soon.

Crashbonsai hidden release

kolme.jpgToday i received an email from my friend Marco, he had just discovered that our 3 tracks album of quickly-edited improvised material called “Kolme” (crashbonsai stuff.. I haven’t been doing it for ages) was released a while ago (a year?). You can find it on Itunes. It’s pretty boring though :-)

Recording new stuff

rec-with-cri.jpgPics from a recording session at Cristiano’s. I went there to record a bass line properly and we ended up with Fannar adding vocals, guitar and even a bit of casio. We even found a title for the track: The Icelandic Killer Sheep. Lucky day.

Vivisection of the mindful body - back online

vivisection.jpgI just noticed that one of my old projects, “Vivisection of the mindful body” is currently off line because the digital magazine that was hosting it, Vague Terrain, has changed is format / web site and still has to upload its archive. In the while here’s a link to download this 5 tracks ep based on the theme “The Body Digital”.
download Vivisection of the Mindful Body

listen to “Bodily Software” feat. AGF.
